| It is my privilege in this newsletter to spend a little time just gushing over someone. Over the last 30 years the REALTORS Land Institute Colorado Chapter has grown, developed and emerged as one of the finest chapters in the United States. This did not happen by circumstance but rather, a group of hard-working men and women who were committed to education, marketing and promoting an environment of unity where fellow brokers could engage in business with likeminded professionals.
One of the leaders in this movement is my friend Kirk Goble. Kirk has served as a local board member for 30 years and has served on numerous RLI national boards. Kirk’s commitment to RLI and love of teaching has created a fantastic platform that many of us have benefited from. Kirk is a nationally recognized educator who has developed curriculum used by land professionals every day.
Kirk has always been a geek. He loves to tinker with new technology and finds ways to create efficiencies in his workflow. A class with Kirk is a combination of fantastic information, laughter and a presentation utilizing graphics and videos with enhanced computerized techno features.
After 30 years of continuous service, Kirk is stepping down from the Colorado board. Kirk it is my privilege to affirm you as a "Rock Star" amongst your peers. You have set a standard of commitment and service that is unprecedented and admired. I don’t mean for this to sound sappy or like I’m reading a eulogy, but Kirk is getting a bit long in the tooth, he loves to drink a lot of micro brews and is no stranger to the term "the munchies!"; so you got to say these things when you can! All kidding aside, Kirk’s plan is to continue teaching and remain an active member of the RLI Colorado community. He’s not ready to be put out to pasture, just slowing down a bit and letting a new generation take over some leadership roles. This is possible because of the foundation you built. I know I can speak with great authority and confidently represent my peers when I say we
"Thank You, You are loved and very much appreciated."
