 Valuations and Transactions of Energy and Environmental Assets 

Land agents will learn about various environmental assets and how to value them during land transactions, such as oil and gas, solar, wind, carbon, mining, broadband, cell towers, and conservation easements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the:

  • Knowledge to understand different types of land resources and the complexity of each type of land resource deal
  • Competence to estimate the market value of land resources
  • Confidence to demonstrate how to access good comp data
  • Expertise to indicate how to sever mineral rights from surface rights
  • Knowledge to explain the vast variety of conservation easements and why a landowner may want to have one or more of these on their property

The Colorado Real Estate Commission has approved the course for 8 hours of continuing education credit.

LANDU Course Pricing Structure

  • $275.00 – ALC Designated Course Price – For registrants that have already earned the Accredited Land Consultants (ALC) Designation and are considered to be an active ALC.
  • $325.00 – RLI Member Course Price – For registrants that are REALTORS® Land Institute Members who have not yet earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation.
  • $400.00 – Non-RLI Member Course Price – For registrants that are not active members of the REALTORS® Land Institute.

HOTEL INFORMATION:  A block of rooms has been secured at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Tech Center, 7675 East Union Ave., Denver.  Rooms are available on Sunday, April 10th and Monday, April 11th at $129.00 per night.  Complimentary daily parking is included.   Book your hotel room online.  The reservation deadline is 6:00pm on March 27th.   The hotel is minutes from the course location.
